It's never too late to learn! Thanks to my British (not to say English) colleagues, I have discovered a typical Christmas theatre style called Pantomime.

Each year, the British community puts up a Pantomime show at the Pibrac Theatre.  As usual, Arthur, who loves shows, was glad to come along with me.

This year, the theme was Beauty and the Beast. I say the theme because the show was only inspired by this classical story. For example, when I read the program to Arthur, I wasn't sure how to explain how the tin-man would fit in!

Well, it did fit in! As well as many more bizarre but funny references! There were jokes for everybody! For the French, for the English, for the kids and for the adults!

And all this fully in English!!

Can't wait for next year's show!

But by then, while Arthur and I go out, Papy will not only have to look after Joanna but also after the baby !  See how I already look larger than the Beast itself?

Indeed after the show, we both went to the Chinese restaurant where Arthur ordered a mango juice for his apero ;-)

La derniere fois que maman est venue a la maison, elle a dit, mine de rien, que "sa" voiture etait beaucoup plus propre quand c'etait elle qui s'en occupait!

Comme j'ecoute ce que dit ma maman, bien que je n'en ai pas l'air, les enfants et moi avons decide de nous lancer dans un grand nettoyage!

Since I bought Mum's car, I must say that I hadn't cleaned it. And I won't tell you when I bought it... But of course, Mum noticed it last time she came! So the kids joined-in in helping clean it through and through!

Enfin moi surtout! Les enfants, eux, se sont bien amuses!

  It's amaizing the weather that we had for an early November day! I had to keep all doors open otherwise we would have been cooking...

Comme quoi, on apprecie ce qui est rare...sic

Arthur and Joanna had great fun playing and climbing in their "castle"

Figurez-vous que j'ai decouvert la pate a sel ce week end! Jusqu'a present, je pensais qu'il fallait des ingredients particuliers, mais quand j'ai decouvert qu'il ne fallait que:

• 1 verre de sel fin
• 2 verres de farine
• et 1 verre d'eau tiede,

Et que ca se couserve bien au frigo, on s'est lance!

Et ca a rappele des souvenirs a Arthur qui, biensur, savait comment faire!

Et Joanna s'en est donne a coeur joie! Saviez-vous que les enfants commencent a s'interesser a la pate a modeler (et a la pate a sel) quand ils commencent a devenir propres? Et surtout a maitriser le caca?

Joanna and Arthur loved it!! And Arthur is old enought oprepare it with me now! Of course, Joanna did try to eat it! But it's really disgusting! And that's one thing, she did not taste twice ;-b

La prochaine fois, je rajoute de la couleur avec du curry ou du paprika! Attention, pas de chocolat ;-)

Next time, I'll try the colouring with spices!
